Wallace "Bud" Elliott, Sr.

Pineville

Wallace “Bud” Clinton Elliott, Sr., age 96, of Pineville, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Mountain View Nursing & Rehab in Pineville, KY.  He was born on September 15, 1923, the son of the late Murph Elliott and Myrtle Garrison Elliott. He was a member of the New Ferndale Pentecostal Church in Pineville, KY.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Darlene Elliott; sons, Robert Elliott and Earl Elliott; daughter, Zenoba Lamb; two grandchildren, Joey Brown and Helen Lamb; 3 brothers, George Elliott, Kenneth Elliott and Curtis Elliott and 2 sisters: Jewel Elliott and Zenoba Elliott.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Children:  Wallace and Carolyn Elliott, Jr. of Pineville, KY, Bobby and Helen Marcum of Middlesboro, KY, Leona Brown of Maiden, NC, Patricia Routson of Middlesboro, KY, Luther and Brenda Adkins of Pineville, KY, and Daril Lawson of TN.

Grandchildren:  Mitchell and Libby Elliott, Sonya Elliott, Tommy and Tonya Marcum, Kevin and Angie Marcum, Paula and Scott Bullman, William Marcum, Angie Hendrick, Melissa Dalton, Sheila Bollinger, Jessie Burchfield, Leatha and Drexel Givens, Amy and Ben Gray, Samantha Cole, Larry and Candace Cole, Mary Lamb, Evan and Felicia Lamb, Paul and Jessica Lamb, Ricky and Shannon Lamb, Billy Elliott, Crystal and Joe Kyle, and James Lawson

A host of Great, Great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family sends a special thank you to all the staff at Mountain View Nursing Home for their love, kindness and help during his stay there.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, at Pine Lawn Memorial Gardens in Pineville, KY, with Rev. George Frederick presiding. Music will be provided by Tyler Givens and Luther Adkins.  Pallbearers will be Mitchell Elliott, Tyler Givens, Tanner Givens, Chase Elliott, Tommy Marcum and Kevin Marcum. The family requests that all who attend the service, should please wear a mask.
