Sarah Coots

Sarah Elizabeth Coots, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at the Tri State Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born February 14, 1940 in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of the late Cuba and Lucy Robertson Hurst.

She was a member of the Church of the First Born.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Children:  Phyllis Ann Sizemore and Dewey Earl (Sherry) Mayes

Grandchildren: Dustin and Brandon Pritchard, Samantha (Adam Nash) Mayes, Thomas (Patricia) Mayes, Sarah Mayes and April (Joe) Carr.

Great Grandchildren: Honesty Mayes, Airelle and Misha Pritchard, Rose Lee Blankenship, Carolyn Carr and Marcella Mayes.

Special Friend: Nina Mayes

Special Grand kids: Aaron and Kiara Fletcher, Brionna Robertson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ricky Braden presiding.  Music will be provided by the Church of the First Born Choir, Ricky Braden and Larry Mitchell.

Interment will follow in the Oakview Cemetery, pallbearers will be; Dustin Pritchard, Thomas Mayes, William Freeman, Adam Nash, Mark Seals and Larry Mitchell.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, at the Cawood Funeral Home.
