Ryan Zanca

Ryan Keith Zanca, age 47, was born on January 28, 1975, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Larry and Ellen (Simnowitz) Zanca. He passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, in Cincinnati, OH.

Ryan was a lifelong boxing fan. He loved to follow boxing but also spar and help train others. He was very proud to be from Brooklyn and loved the New York Giants. He graduated from Coconut Creek High School and spent many years in south Florida and Charlotte, NC. He loved people and loved to make people laugh, and he was very proud of his children.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner Elisa Cawood; his children, Christian Zanca and Catherine Zanca; his sister, Kimberly Zanca; and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:45 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, in Middlesboro, KY.  A gathering of family and friends will occur in Charlotte, NC, at a later date.
