Rev. Bill Parker

Rev. Bill Parker, age 70, of Harrogate, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 24, 1949 in Morristown, TN; the son of the late Joe Parker and Marie Walker Kennedy.

He was a Baptist Minister and had pastored several local churches.  He was presently a member of Meldrum Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Susie Parker.

He is survived by his Son and daughter-in-law, Rev. John and Susan Parker; and his Granddaughter, Rebekah Parker, who was his best friend.  He always referred to her as Papaw’s Angel.

The family of Rev. Bill Parker will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, at the Meldrum Baptist Church in Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Barnett presiding.  Music will be provided by Regina Hatfield, Wanda Miracle and the Meldrum Baptist Church Choir.  Pallbearers will be William Uhrig, Rick Fuson, Mitchell Cobb, David Rowland, Rick Davis and Kris England.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Fred Chumley, Bobby Kelly and John Redmond.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at the Scott Cemetery in Harrogate, TN.
