Randy Phelps

Randy Lee Phelps, age 61, a resident of Harrogate, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 5, 1959 to the late Fred and Blanche Phelps.

He loved the Lord and was the Pastor of the Northside Baptist Church in Middlesboro, Kentucky for 22 years he also was a proud coal miner for 43 years.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Wife: Star Phelps of Harrogate, Tennessee

Son: Ryan (Alexis) Phelps of Middlesboro, Kentucky

The greatest blessing in his life was his granddaughter, Rylee Jasmine, who she called “Pap” she put such a smile on his face and joy in his heart.

Sister: Janet Phelps of Middlesboro, Kentucky

And a host of many other relatives and friends.

The family of Randy Lee Phelps will receive friends on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home chapel in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home chapel in Middlesboro, Kentucky with Rev. Keith Medley and Rev. Jeff Tingle presiding. Music will be provided by Josh Peters.

Graveside services for Randy Lee Phelps will follow the funeral service in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be, Gerald Branham, Butch Norton, Roger Baker, Paul Sowders, Steve Fox and John Craig. Honorary pallbearers will be, Leland Idol and Bill Norton.
