Lois Mckinney

Lois Jean McKinney, age 70, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, TN.  She was born April 15, 1952, the daughter of the late William Floyd Partin and Maggie Carmack Partin of Middlesboro, KY.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Roscoe (Lola) Shelby, Elmer (Ruth) Shelby, Dearl Shelby and Alvis Frank Shelby, Jr.; sisters, Pearl Dick, Lucille Hatfield, Mary Partin Wilcox and Koactha Partin; and niece, Jana Lea Hopkins.

Lois is survived by her children, Douglas McArthur Davis II and Jane Anne Davis Hatfield

Sisters, Wilma Mae Smith and Bertha Matilda Partin

Grandchildren, Douglas “Tre” Davis III, Gabriele (Preston) Collins , Dakota (Leah) Davis, Jaryod (Hanna) Davis, Taylor (Nathaniel) McQueen, Jennifer (Charlie) Lambert and Derek Hatfield

Honorary nieces and nephews, Tammy Sue Gulley, Lena Cox, William Davis, Charles Wayne Shelby II, Regina Daniels, Mary Jean Funkhouser, Justin Honeycutt and Amber Honeycutt.

The family of Lois Jean McKinney will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Services will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend David King presiding.  Music will be provided by Keith Taylor and Anita Oney.
