Koactha Partin

Koactha Otella Partin, age 73, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital in Middlesboro, KY.  She was born on June 9, 1947, the daughter of the late William Floyd and Maggie Partin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Wilcox, Lucille Hatfield and Pearl Dix; and her brother, Dearl Shelby.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Daughter:  Cassandra Holt Browning

3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren

Special Sisters:  Willa Mae Smith and Lois Jean McKinney

Brothers:  Charles Shelby and Frank (Hazel) Shelby, Jr.

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family of Koactha Partin will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 22, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Hatfield presiding. Pallbearers will be William Davis, Jr., Wyatt Davis, Douglas Davis, Matthew Good, Casey Hatfield, Charles Nunn , John Hobbs, Chandler Mink and Braxton Mink.

Interment will immediately follow the funeral service, at the Chenoa Cemetery in Chenoa, KY.
