Keats (Clyde) Franklin Eads, age 67, of Ewing Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab Facility. He was born on July 19, 1954, to the late Hubert and Alice Cupp Eads. Keats served in the United States Navy and retired as a Stationary Engineer from Wright Patterson Airforce Base. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God, a novice bird breeder, and trading card enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ira Larry Eads.

He is survived by his three daughters, Sarah (Eads) Phares of Ames, Iowa; Rebekah (Eads) Cockerill of Xenia, Ohio; and Rachel (Eads) Eberly of Middlesboro, Ohio. His two siblings, Virginia (Eads) Campbell and Archie Eads, both of Middlesboro, KY; as well as six grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews; and a several extended relatives.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel. Following the visitation a procession will leave the funeral home going to the Leftwich-Eads Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA, where graveside services and military honors will be given by Jellico Honor Guard.
