John Maiden

Mr. John Patrick Maiden, age 48, a resident of Knoxville, TN passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 in the North Knoxville Medical Center.  He was born April 21, 1973, the son of the late John Wiley Maiden and Edna Faye Marsee Maiden.  Patrick was born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Middlesboro, KY.  He was the owner and operator of Maiden Overhead Door.  In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed his motorcycle and spending time with those who rode with him.

He attended Sevier Heights Baptist Church in Alcoa, TN.  He loved the Lord with all of his heart and his family meant everything to him.  He was a loving brother, father, and good friend to many.  Salsa and  guacamole was his favorite snack!

He is survived by his sons:  Matt Payton Maiden and girlfriend, Meagan King, and Isaac Gentry Maiden; sisters, Connie Rowland and husband Rick, and Becky Gentry and husband Chris; brother, John Paul Maiden; nieces and nephews, David Smith, Leslie Smith, Pierce Gentry, and Mary Katherine Gentry; and a host of other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.   Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with lifelong friend and Pastor Macel Ely presiding.  Graveside services will immediately follow in the Marsee Cemetery.

Pallbearers for Patrick Maiden will be Matt Maiden, Isaac Maiden, David Smith, Chris Gentry, David Fletcher and David Mink.
