James "Red" Womack

James "Red" Michael Womack, age 59, a resident of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

He was born on December 5, 1961, to the late Howard Johnson and Nellie Womack.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, General Shelton.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Wife: Michelle Womack of Middlesboro, Kentucky

Children: Melissa Ray and Jonathon Womack both of Middlesboro, Kentucky

Grandchildren: Brianna Partin and Cierra Ray

Brothers: Randall Womack, Harold Womack, and Ernest Womack

Sister: Patricia Graham

And a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A family gathering will be held in James Michael “Red” Womack’s memory on Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home chapel in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cawood Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
