Gene Bailey

Gene Douglas Bailey, age 78 of Middlesboro, KY passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 peacefully at his home.  He was born April 15, 1942, the son of the late Harrison and Lula Mae Eads Bailey.

He was a member of the Rose Hill Church of God and he served his country in the United States Army, serving in Vietnam.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James A. Bailey and Franklin Delano Bailey; and his sister, Joyce Bailey Rowlands.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

His loving wife, Alta Bailey

Daughter, Sheila (Wayne) Wright

Brother, Clark Bailey

Sister, Kathleen Bailey Hayes Gordon

And a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

At the request of the family all services were private.  Military Honors were given at the graveside service by the Jellico Honor Guard.
