Gary Green

Gary Green, age 75, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, peacefully at his home.  He was born May 15, 1946, the son of the late Ed Green and Dorothy (Fink) Green.

Gary was a wonderful, loving husband and father, and he was the best papaw in the world.  He was also a very special great papaw to two of the most beautiful great-granddaughters.  We all miss him so very much already and Gary, never forget we love you now and always.

Gary fought a long hard battle with cancer for almost 5 years. He finally fought his last fight and went home.  He will be missed greatly.  He touched so many lives in such a good way.  He can now rest.  We love you Gary and will see you again.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Skylar Lee Houston; and his sister-in-law, Judy (Long) Douglas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Norma Green; daughter, Jerri J. Green; 5 very special granddaughters, Cheyenne Houston, Hope Houston, Destiny Houston, Margaret Seigler, and Ariana Brown.  He loved these kids with all of his heart.  He is also survived by his sister, Sheila (Coy) Smith, brother, Edward Lee (Vickie) Green; 4 special nephews that have to be named because they helped him in so many ways and he loved them very much, Jordan Lambert, Michael Lambert, Gary (Leane) Douglas, Jr., and Shawn (Leanna) Douglas; 2 grandsons, Joseph Hill and Blaine Hill; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service for Gary at a later date.
