Frederick Pettingill, Jr.

Frederick Childs Pettingill, Jr., age 74, of Miracle, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at the home he built in Miracle, KY.

He was born on January 15, 1946 in Lewiston, Maine, the son of the late Frederick and Virginia Pettingill.  He worked as a Millright for General Motors until he retired.  Fred enjoyed being a “snowbird” from Naples, FL to Miracle, KY.  He was a linebacker for Utah State and anytime he was asked how he was, he replied “supa”.  Fred enjoyed boating, fishing and classic cars.  He was baptized at the Lighthouse Holiness Church in Prague, OK in 1996.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Bruce Pettingill, all from Maine.

Children, Kristen Clark of Maine, Danny (Hailey) Pettingill, Fred III (Traci) Pettingill and Jill Pettingill, all from Oklahoma

11 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandson and a host of loving family and friends.

Graveside service for Fred will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, KY with Rev. Jason Elswick officiating.
