Fay Blevens

Fay Eva Blevens age 93, of Frakes, KY, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2021, at the Tri-State Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harrogate, TN.  She was born November 26,1927, the daughter of the late Author Jones and Bertha Fletcher Jones.  She was also preceded in death by two children, Wayne Allen and Barry Douglas; brothers and sisters, Wayne Jones, Betty Ray Aimes, Jim Jones and Donny Jones.

Fay was a retired 2nd Grade teacher in the Bell County School System at Frakes Elementary.  She was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church in Frakes, Kentucky.

She is survived by two daughters, Billie Ann Mason and Donna Fay Blevens; Grandchildren, Tammy Rhea, Jessica Lynn, Robert Lewis, Ashley Fay, Russell and Travis; one sister, Jimmie Ann Sica; two brothers, Alva Jones and Harve Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Fay Blevens will receive friends on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY.  Graveside services will immediately follow in the Fletcher Cemetery in Frakes, KY with Rev. Tim Henderson presiding.  Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
