Estil Poore

Estil Dean Poore, age 81, of Tazewell, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Claiborne Medical Center, Tazewell, Tennessee.  He was born in Harlan, Kentucky on February 24, 1942 to the late Otto and Mandy Gordon Poore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Louise Poore and infant brother, David Earle Poore.

Estil is survived by his children, Dena Money, Lisa (Ricky) Tarver, Kimberly Bullock (Joe) Freels, Dennis Poore (Linda Campbell), Larry (Connie) Poore, Mickey Poore, and Curtis (Kristie) Poore; brother, Lloyd (Toby) Poore; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Estil Poore will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, Kentucky.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Brown and Rev. Preston Smith presiding.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in the Hooper Cemetery, Speedwell, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be: Gordon Alvis, Chad Money, Damian Overton, Michael Ferguson, and Ricky Tarver.
