Eli Hatfield

Eli “E” Cornelius Jerry Hatfield, age 3 ½, passed from this life on May 5, 2023, at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.  He was born on November 7, 2019, in Cincinnati, Ohio to his loving parents, Ethan and Kayla Hatfield, who survive. “E” was a happy little boy who loved Mickey Mouse.  He also loved playing at his mamaw’s and pop’s house, swinging, and playing with his Mickey cars.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his precious memory are his sister, Eisley Hatfield; maternal grandparents, Carl and Cleo Minton of Barbourville, Kentucky; paternal grandparents, Jeremy and Rhonda Hatfield of Frakes, Kentucky; great-grandparents, Jackie Murphy and Darlene and Roland Partin; great-great-grandmother, Ellen Hatfield; aunts Sonya (Chris) Alford, Kassie Hatfield, Miranda (Kyle) Wilson, and Carla (John) Simpson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Clairfield Missionary Baptist Church, 318 Rock Creek Ridge Road, Clairfield, Tennessee 37715.  A Celebration of Life for "E" will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 12:00pm at the Clairfield Missionary Baptist Church, Clairfield, Tennessee with Reverend Kevin Turner presiding.

Entombment will immediately follow the Celebration of Life at the Eli Hatfield Cemetery in Frakes, Kentucky.

The family requests that those who plan to attend “E”’s services to avoid wearing black.  Instead, bright colors are preferred to reflect his love of all things Mickey Mouse.
