Donald Quillen

Donald Roland Quillen, 84, of Pineville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday February 22, 2021 at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He was born on August 3, 1936, the son of the late Robert Roland Quillen and Mary Edith Quillen.

He was a retired Bell County School teacher and a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. He was married to his loving wife, Helen Joyce Quillen, for 63 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Juanita Denny.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Wife, Helen Joyce Quillen

Daughter, Rosemary (Marty) Bramble

Grandson, James Robert (Amy) Bramble

Great Grandsons, Elijah Robert and Isaiah George

And a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wesley Miracle and Rev. Marty Bramble presiding.  Pallbearers will be Bradley Fuson, Nick Brooks, Gary Perkins, Max Money, Chuck Jordon and Zach Patterson.

Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Newport, Charles Sharpe, Ron Jordan, Middlesboro High School Class of 1955, All members of the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church and all members of the Boston Missionary Baptist Church.

Graveside services will immediately follow the funeral service in the Turner Cemetery at Colmar, Middlesboro, KY.

All mandated Covid-19 regulations, including masks and social distancing, will be observed.
