Darrell Wagner, Sr.

Darrell Wagner, Sr., age 65, a resident of Harrogate, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at his home.

He was born on March 10, 1955 in Arjay, Kentucky to the late Dan, Sr., and Laura Wagner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dan, Jr., his sister, Phyllis and his daughter, Crystal Wagner.

He was a Vietnam War Veteran and he owned and operated several coal mines throughout his life.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

His wife of 45 years: Wilma Wagner

Son: Darrell (D.J.) Wagner, Jr.

Dogs: Blue and King

Brothers: JD, Curt, Earl, Jerry, Roy, and Michael

Sisters: Doris, Joyce, and Dana

Along with a host of many other family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to UT Hospice for their special care given and to special caregivers Kim Marlow and Joe and Donna McGinnis.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Wagner and Rev. Shannon Harris presiding.  Music will be provided by Julie Wagner.

Interment service, per the request of the family, will be private.
