Brenda Wilson

Brenda Joyce Wilson age 60 of Frakes, KY went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a devout Christian who loved going to church.  She loved her grandchildren dearly and loved spending time with them.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Alice Collins, her sister Lois Jean Stewart, infant granddaughter, Emerson Rose Parker and brother-in-law, Marvin Wilson.

She is survived by the love of her life, husband of 45 years, Harley Wilson; her father: Lewis Collins; children Rodney (Samantha) Wilson of Frakes, KY, Robyn (DeAndre) Parker of Jeffersonville, IN, Jeremy (Shalom) Wilson of Middlesboro, KY and Jessica (Derek) Hickman of Middlesboro, KY.  Grandchildren: Kassidy, Wyatt, Karson, Lilah, and Clay Wilson.  Sisters:  Melissa Reid, Rosetta (Dugen) Tipton and Beverly Bentley. Sisters-in-law: Charlise Willis and Melissa Wilson. Brothers-in-law: Dennie (Geraldine) Turner, Earnest (Darlene) Wilson, Michael (Mary Helen) Wilson, Rick (Pam) Wilson and Randy (Heather) Wilson. And a host of other relatives and special friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cawood Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Neal, Rev.  Dustin Simpson and Nathan Bennett officiating.  Music will be provided by Natasha Brock and Rebekah Bennett.

Pallbearers:  David Jackson, Jr., Dugen Tipton, Arvil Willis, Donnie Wright, Kevin Turner, Rick Wilson, Mark Daugherty and Dustin Wilson.
