Brenda Lee

Brenda Kay Lee, 71, of Miracle, KY, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY.

She had worked for many years as a nurse in Pineville.

She was born December 6, 1950 in Pineville, KY, the daughter of the late Roy Wilder and Alice Jean Miracle Wilder Boatrite.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: W.G. Lee, a daughter; Tammy Lee, Step Father; Robert Boatrite and a special niece; Lacosta Lee.  She is survived by the following members of her family:

Son: Shawn (Ruby) Lee

Sister: Dee (Roger) Wilder

Step Brothers and Sisters: Linda Sue White, Sharron Lettner, Sandy Wise, Lennie Boatrite and Rob Boatrite.

Special Grandson: Caden Lee

Grandchildren: Kerston Norton, Caleb Norton, Autumn North and Stephen Orr.

Great Grandchildren: James Brown and Viserys North.

Special Nephew: Neil A. Lee

Nephew: Darren Sanders

Nieces: Kadence Taylor and Katlin Wilder

Special Friends: Charlotte Wilder, Riva Widner, Dorothy May Bryant, Beth Schimmel, Tracy Lee and Louisa Farley.

And a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. David Miracle presiding.  Music will be provided by the Oakdale Choir and Marion Lawson.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Cubbage Cemetery.  Family and friends will gather at the cemetery prior to the service.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, at the Cawood Funeral Home.
