Bettie "Mama" Louise Ball Hearn

Bettie "Mama" Louise Williams Ball Hearn, age 93, gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday, January 10,2023, at the Laurel Heights Rehabilitation Center in London, KY.  Louise was born November 13, 1929 in Pineville, KY.

Louise is preceded in death by her Mother Nell Creech Bird; grandparents, Millard and Sally Creech; her first husband, John R. Ball and her late husband, James "Jim" Hearn; daughters, Pamela Sue Ball and Vickie Lynn Ball Partin; and Dr. Pierce (Jessie Creech) Martin who helped raise her.

Oh how she loved her family and the love they had for her will be never-ending.  Louise loved and cared for both her family and friends.  She will always be a bright light.  Louise was known for her kindness, elegance and beauty.  Many referred to her as "the pretty lady at the roller rink".   She loved her flower gardens, nature and particularly birds were her favorite.

Louise was a pillar of her community.  She retired from the Tax Assessors office in Middlesboro.  She worked alongside her family operating the Middlesboro Roller Rink providing our community with music and entertainment from the late 60's, 70's and early 80's.

Louise was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Middlesboro.  She supported various charities throughout her life.

Louise is survived by the following members of her family, sister, Nancy Jackson Faulkner of Corbin, KY; grandchildren, Raul (Erin Schaab) Lince of Knoxville, TN, Monica Lince of Panama City, Panama, Alejandro (Stephanie Broff) Lince of Pittsburg, PA, Gary W. (Stephanie Vanover) Smith, Jr., John M. Smith and Melanie S. Smith Napier all of Middlesboro, KY; g reat grandchildren, Lucas Lince, Jane Lince, Lindsay Smith (Trevon), Abigail Smith, Shawn Shepard, Josh Smith, Jordan Smith, John D. Napier and Zachary A. Napier;  great-great grandchildren, Laikynn Smith and Trevon Gioieni; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; and her sweetie doggie, Abby.

Louise will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

We would like to thank the staff of Laurel Village Assisted Living Center and Laurel Heights Rehabilitation Center for the care and compassion demonstrated towards Louise.

A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  Family and friends will meet at the Mausoleum.
