Wilma Suffridge

Wilma Faye Suffridge, 89, of Middlesboro, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at her home.

She was born June 8, 1930 in Ohio, the daughter of the late Arthur and Matilda Christiansen Spurlock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Joe Walker Suffridge, a daughter: Ruth Ann Suffridge, 2 Sisters: Patty Baker and JoAnn Wallace.

Survivors include:

Brother: Gene Hawkins

Sister: Dorothy Blevins

Her Daughters:

Kathy (Bernie) Pursifull, Sylvia Bayless and Cindy (David) Evans.

Her Grandchildren: Joe (Rachael) Bayless, Millie Pursifull, Jason (Jessica) Bayless, Chris Evans, Adam Pursifull, Laura (Bobby) Hoskins and Chloe’ McMurray and a host of great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Zach Bay presiding.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 6, at the Middlesboro Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, at the Creech Funeral Home.
