Staci Lynn Lawson, age 54, of New Tazewell, TN, originally from Michigan, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was surrounded by her loving children at the time of her passing. She was born July 27, 1971, the daughter of the late Kaye Cantrell Rogers.
Staci dedicated many years of her life to serving the community as a bus driver for the Bell County School System. Her vibrant spirit and kindness extended beyond her work; she was known for her passion for crocheting, often crafting cherished items for her grandchildren. Her home was a welcoming haven, where friends and family frequently gathered, drawn by her warm hospitality and the delightful aroma of home-cooked meals.
In addition to her love for family, Staci also had a special bond with her dog, Thor, who undoubtedly brought her joy and companionship. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she truly cherished the time spent with them.
In addition to her mother, Staci was preceded in death by her sisters, Mandi Greenfield and Melissa Kandlstorfer; and her brother, Tommy Thorn.
Staci is survived by her sister, Sherri (Shawn) Neff; her children, Johnathan (Brooke) Kandlstorfer, Ethan Pridemore, and Charles Lawson; grandchildren, Audrey Kandlstorfer, Zoey Kandlstorfer and soon to arrive baby girl Kandlstorfer; Madison Pridemore, David Pridemore; Ember Lawson, Paityn Lawson, and Wailyn Lawson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Staci leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration among those who were fortunate enough to know her. While she may no longer be with us, the memories she created and the love she shared will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends.
