Sharon Frances Russell

Sharon Frances Russell, age 75, of Braselton, GA, formerly of Middlesboro, KY, went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, March 30, 2024. She was born on August 24, 1948, in Fork Ridge, TN, to Lee Roy and Juanita Byrge Farmer. Sharon enjoyed spending time on the golf course with her husband and son and was delighted in being a grandmother to Kenny and Hutch.  

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kyle David Russell; brothers, Roy Gene Farmer, Jerry Randal Farmer, Raymond Dale Farmer, and Phillip Jackie Farmer.  

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kyle David (Karen) Russell, Jr.; grandsons, Kenny Canakis and Hutch Clary; sisters, Delores June Shearsmith, Brenda Joyce Brandenburg, and Anita Hope Farmer; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.  

The family of Sharon Russell will receive friends on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Astor Simpson presiding.  

Family and friends of Sharon Russell will meet at Cawood Funeral Home, Middlesboro, KY, on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 12:20 p.m. to travel in procession to the Mausoleum at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY where graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m.
