Ruby Rowlett Graham

Ruby Rowlett Graham, age 97, of Ewing,VA, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026. She was born on November 1, 1928, in Ewing, VA, to Ira and Minnie Estep Rowlett, who preceded her in death.

Ruby was very active in the community. She loved singing in the choir and serving at her church. She also loved visiting the nursing homes to cheer up the residents there. In warm weather she loved to be outdoors gardening. Everyone that knew her loved her and she will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Graham. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Theo Rowlett, Walter Rowlett, and Clifford Rowlett and her sisters, Cleo Rowlett, Stella Rowlett Justice, and Bessie Rowlett Simpson.

Ruby is survived by her sister, Gladys Rowlett, and her three children, Douglas Graham (Judy), Sandra Graham, and Victoria Graham. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lynda Graham Stanton (Keith), David Graham (Lisa), Eric Hudson (Kristina), and James Hudson (Tina).

She has several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  

The family of Ruby Graham will receive friends on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Hudson, Ruby's grandson, presiding.

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to Oak Grove Cemetery, Big Springs Union, TN, where graveside services will be held.

Pallbearers will be Eric Hudson, Logan Hudson, David Rowlett, and Charlie Rowlett.
