Born on April 25, 1961, in Tazewell, Tennessee, Regina lived a life rooted in family, compassion, and devotion to the Lord.
Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother. Her children were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into raising them with strength, guidance, and unconditional love. She was their greatest supporter, their comfort in hard times, and their constant source of encouragement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Louise Venable; her brothers, Bobby Venable and Robin Venable; her nieces, Lindsey Southern and Carrie Ellison; her nephew, Steve Powers; and her brother-in-law, Steve Agee.
Regina is survived by her children, Carrie (Jared) Alexander of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jeff (Carla) Gambrell of Jefferson City, Tennessee, and Brent Gambrell of Jefferson City, Tennessee.
She is also survived by her siblings, Marsha Abbott, Randy (Shea) Venable, Roberta “Birdy” Agee, Teresa Southern, Barbara Venable, Joyce (Marvin) Powers, and Bruce (Yvonne) Venable; and her brother-in-law, David Southern.
Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Makenzie Gambrell, Piper Gambrell, Brody Kennedy, KC Alexander, Madison Gambrell, and Makaylie Gambrell, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who loved her deeply.
Regina’s life was a reflection of her faith. Though her passing brings great sorrow, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now resting in the presence of her Savior. Her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will live on in all who knew and loved her.
The family will meet at Cawood Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday April 16, 2026, to travel in procession to Cook Pleasant View Cemetery in Springdale, TN, where graveside services will be held.
