Priscilla Ward

Priscilla Ward, age 60, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. She was born May 2, 1966, the daughter of the late Ralph and Josephine Brooks Mayes.

Priscilla loved her family above all else. Living life with a gentle spirit and quiet strength, she always found a reason to smile and spent every day looking out for the people she loved. She also loved the Lord, and was a devoted member of the Church of the First Born in Middlesboro, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Ward; son, Leamon Ward, Jr.; sister, Mary Kathrine (Kathy) Williams; brothers, Kenneth Mayes and Curtis (Bernice) Mayes.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brian (Marilyn) Ward, Jamie Ward, John Ward and Jackie Ward; grandchildren, Kristen, Amber and Autumn Ward, Caden and Kali Ward and Grayson, Christina and Abby Ward; brothers, Ivan Mitchell (Lisa) Mayes and Michael Mayes; special friend, Rachel Raines; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family of Priscilla Ward will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ricky Braden presiding. Music will be provided by the Church of the First Born singers, Opal Inman and Jerry Barnett.

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to the Hubbard Cemetery, Chenoa, KY, where graveside services will be held.

Pallbearers will be Micheal Ward, Benjamin Ward, Christopher Cobb, Josh Knight, Chris Osborne and Nick Hamblin.
