Polly Murray

Polly Murray, age 63 of Matthews, NC, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Matthews Medical Center, Matthews, NC.  She was born November 25, 1959 in Pineville, KY,  the daughter of the late Dewey and Virgie Murray of Chenoa, KY.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers, Willie Murray and Cecil Murray; sisters, Charlen Tipton, Joyce Tipton, Lola Hopper and Vicki Draughn.

She greatly enjoyed time with her family and friends. Polly especially enjoyed caring for and time with her cats.  They were so dear to her.

Polly is survived by her brother, James (Eddie) Murray and wife Loretta; sisters, Dorothy Jackson and Betty Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Graveside services for Polly will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in the Willis Cemetery at Chenoa, KY.  Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
