Pauline Essary Todd

Pauline Essary Todd, age 100, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on July 11, 2026. Her husband, Tom Todd, preceded her in death.

She has a precious nephew, Johnny Milton Essary, Sr., whom she raised as her son. His wife is Linda Essary, and they had three wonderful sons, Johnny Milton Essary, Jr. and wife, Elizabeth Essary, James Miguel Essary, and wife, Angel Essary, and Jeffery Essary. They all had children and grandchildren.

She had a nephew, John Alan Redmon who had a lovely wife and two daughters, Danielle, Sydney and Eden; Also, she had a niece, Elaine Adkins, and husband, Bill and their two sons, Timmy and Sean, and their families. She had many wonderful friends too numerous to mention.

Pauline was of the Christian faith, a member of First Christian Church in Middlesboro, KY, and truly loved people and music. She will be missed.

The family of Pauline Essary Todd will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Astor Simpson presiding. Music will be provided by Larry and Karen Greene Blondell and Tracey Sharpe.  

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Middlesboro, KY, where graveside services will be held. Pallbearers will be Ethan Jackson Essary, Tyler Jackson Essary, Jordan Hall, Lonnie Teddy Saylor, Tanner Colton Hall and Abigale Jackson Essary.
