Patti Taylor Allen

Patti Taylor Allen, age 71, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN. She was born on May 26, 1954 in Harlan, KY, to the late Lee and Juanita Halcomb Taylor.

Patti loved to prepare delicious meals and enjoyed sharing them by entertaining her family and friends. She also found pleasure casting a line and getting a bite from a large bass on Norris Lake. Pattie was a member of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Patti was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Allen; sister, Sherry Taylor; son-in-law, Steve Smith; and special friend, Donna Kay Hunley.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Angela Allen Smith; grandchildren, Wyatt (Dr. Kayla) Smith, Carson Smith, and Kendra Smith; nephew, Eddie (Pam) Adams; great-nephew, Gavin Adams; special friends, Frankie and Travis Owens, Sidney “Woody” Sweeney, Gayle, Frankie,Tammy, and William Cawood; and a very special love, her Yorkie, River as well as a host of other family and friends.

Per the family’s request, all services for Patti Taylor Allen will be private.
