Mary Poore

Mary Louise Poore, age 79, of Tazewell, TN, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the Claiborne County Medical Center in Tazewell, TN.  She was born September 27, 1942, the daughter of the late Herbert Harrell and Iva Mae Dotson.  She was a member of the Red Oak Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Sowders.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 60 years, Estil Poore; children, Dena Money, Lisa (Ricky) Tarver, Kimberly Bullock Freels, Dennis Poore (Linda Campbell), Larry (Connie) Poore, Mickey Poore and Curtis (Kristie) Poore; sisters, Linda (Don) Cupp and Wanda Metcalf; brother, Tommy (Linda) Harrell; brother-in-law, Lloyd (Toby) Poore; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. John Brown and Rev. Preston Smith officiating.  Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hooper Cemetery, Speedwell, TN.

Pallbearers will be Chad Money, Damian Overton, Caleb Burch, Michael Harrell, Michael Ferguson, Paul Harrell and Trapper Davis.
