Maggie Cupp

Maggie Lou Hunley Cupp, age 85, of Miracle, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was born May 9, 1937, to the late Frank and Frances Lee Hunley.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Maggie was a member of the Brownies Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur "Hot Shot" Cupp; son-in-law, Kenneth Mason; three sisters, Mandy Cheek, Sarah Hunley and Easter Hunley; and twelve brothers, Robert, Sherman, Millard, Lewis, Grover, Harl, Jim, Earl, Amos, Willard, John and Andy Hunley.

Left to mourn her passing are her daughters, Cathy Mason and Sharon Miracle, both of Miracle, KY; son, Michael (Mary Ann) Cupp of Pineville, KY; six grandchildren, Amanda (Brian) Rice, Cheryl (Daniel) Ely, Arthur (Jessica) Miracle, Maggie (Albert) Gregory, Dannie Lacy and Ann Sizemore; nineteen great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Zella Hunley, Mag (Jim) Bennett, Linda Lou (Paul) Hobbs and Earlene Sutton; brother-in-law, Donnie (Cynthia) Cupp; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family of Maggie Lou Hunley Cupp will receive friends on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Miracle and Rev. Thomas Heck officiating. Music will be provided by the Brownies Creek Missionary Baptist Church singers, Travis Owens and Clarence Ramsey.

Graveside services will immediately follow in the Wilder Cemetery at Brownies Creek, KY.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
