June Nelson

LEBANON, Illinois - June Hunley Nelson, 74 of Belleville, IL, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019, at the Lebanon Care Center.

She was born June 30, 1945 in Pineville, KY, the daughter of the late Harl and Rachel (Green) Hunley.

She was a member of Pontiac Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Daughter: Vickie Lynn Nelson, Granddaughter: Kiara Monique Smith, Brothers and Sisters: John Hunley, May Hunley, Robert Hunley, Bradley Hunley, Hassie Green, Geneva Gibbons, Beatrice Summers, and Ruby Gibbons.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Her Husband Glenn Nelson of Belleville, IL, Her Daughter Sherri (Ed) Smith of Belleville, IL

Her Grandchildren: Isaiah Parmer, Beyla Smith, Nate Smith, and Edwin Smith Jr.

Her Brother: Orby Hunley and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Friends

The funeral will be held at Creech Funeral Home on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow the funeral service in Miracle, Kentucky across from Oakdale Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Isaiah Parmer, Nate Smith, Jeremiah Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Phillip Wilder, and Jonathan McClelland.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, at Creech Funeral Home in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
