John Jackson Wilson

John Jackson Wilson, age 76, of Pathfork, KY, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at the LaFollette Medical Center, LaFollette, TN. He was born on November 7, 1949, in Blackstar, KY, to Albert and Ralpha Houston Wilson, who preceded him in death.

John loved the simple joys of life—casting a line into a favorite fishing hole, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats every chance he got, and heading to the mountains in search of hickory chickens.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Ondalee Wilson and siblings, Edward Wilson, Jess Wilson, and Don Wilson.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, John (Melissa) Wilson, Jessica (Kenneth) Hecht, and Geneva Ealy; grandchildren, Johnathan Wilson, Bradley Wilson, Wesley Ealy, Mae Ealy, Samuel Robert Griffin, Ariel Hecht, and Chelsey Yonts; eleven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Robert (Ursula) Wilson, Nina Wilson, and Willilam “Doug” (Catherine) Wilson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services for John Wilson will be private.
