Joey Denny

Joey William Denny, age 64, of Ewing, Virginia passed away on December 26, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born on August 10, 1958, in Lafayette, Indiana to the late John Sewell Denny and June Rose (Morris) Denny.  He was a member of Butchers Gap Missionary Baptist Church in Ewing, Virginia.

In addition to his parents, Joey was preceded in death by his brothers, Hubert S. Denny, Robert Thompson, Billy Ray Denny, and Jimmy Denny; and sister, Anna Bailey.

He is survived by his stepmother, Polly Denny; son, Joseph William Denny; sisters, Barbara Feller, Dora Cox, and Michelle Denny; brothers, Alvin Denny and Forester Denny.  Also left to mourn his passing are a host of nieces and nephews.

The family of Joey William Denny will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, Kentucky.  A graveside service will immediately follow at the Susong Cemetery in Ewing, Virginia.
