Jeffery Gambrel

Jeffery Earl Gambrel, age 61, of Harrogate, TN, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  He was born May 10, 1961, in Corbin, KY, the son of the Thomas and Magdalene Gambrel, who precede him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shelia Gambrel of Harrogate, TN; daughter, Monica Bates and husband, Quinton; four grandchildren, Kaylee, Audrey, Beckham and Brenna; all of Harrogate, TN; two sisters, Melinda (Lynn) Lockhart and Kathy (Jim) Allen, both of Corbin, KY; three half-sisters, Shirley Helton of Florence, KY, Brenda Pennington of Logan, WV, and Genieva Noe of Flemingsburg, KY; half-brother, Keith Gambrel of Knoxville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family of Jeffery Earl Gambrel will receive friends Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.  Graveside services will immediately follow in the family cemetery near Mr. Gambrel's home, Harrogate, TN. Pallbearers will be Quinton Bates, Tom Bolinger, Tim Ousley, Mike Gambrel, Russell Wren and Charlie Wren.  Honorary pallbearers will be Larry “Hoagie” Jones, Colin Green, Jim Riley Allen and Casey Lockhart.
