Helen Howard

Helen Brock Howard, age 84, a resident of Pathfork, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at her home in Pathfork.

She was born on May 10, 1935 in Twila, Kentucky to the late Onzie Brock and Dorothy Hensley Brock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Robert W. Griffin, Jr.

She is survived by the following members of her family:

Husband of 68 years, united in marriage on December 29, 1951: Wilse Howard

Children: Ernie (Sue) Howard, Kern (Ralph) Palmer, Geona (Nathaniel) Snellings and Patrick (Sarah) Howard

Brother: Boyd (Shirley) Brock of Cincinnati, Ohio

Grandchildren: Stephanie E. Rice, Charles (Chas) Howard, Alyssa Howard, Andrew Howard and Brookelyn Howard

Great-grandchildren: Keegan Griffin, Kelsey Griffin, Tristen Henry, Brayden Ellis, Landen Hall and Graycen Ellis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church in Blackstar, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church in Blackstar, Kentucky with Rev. Ronnie Oplinger, Rev. Eli Craig and Rev. J.C. Craig presiding. Music will be provided by Ron Wagers, the Derosette Family and Margie Moore.

Graveside service will follow the funeral service in the Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Ernie Howard, Patrick Howard, Stephanie Rice, Alyssa Howard, Andrew Howard, Brookelyn Howard, Tristen Henry and Brayden Ellis.
