Heather Vanover

Heather Ann Maxwell Vanover, 39, of Middlesboro, Ky passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021. She was born in Middlesboro, Ky on June 17, 1981 to the late Steven Maxwell and Shelia (Barton) Price. Heather was a member of Old Cannon Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her father Steven Maxwell, her paternal grandparents James "Ebb" & Hazel Maxwell, her maternal grandparents Clifford "Ned" & Oma Barton, a special childhood friend Amanda Jo Boatright, and her first husband, her high school sweetheart, James Hatfield.

Heather is survived by her mother and stepfather, Shelia & Conley "Pop" Price of Speedwell, Tn.  Her children: Stephanie Hatfield of Middlesboro, Ky. Harley Hatfield of Frakes, Ky.
Austin Middleton of New Market, Tn.

Heather is also survived by her only sister, Adra(Mack) Flowers of Lancaster, Tx.
As well as her 4 stepbrothers: Tom Gambrel of Middlesboro, Ky. Clark (Jessica) Gambrel of Venice, Fl. Sam (Alicia) Gambrel of Nicholasville, Ky. Jon (Shannon) Price of Middlesboro, Ky.

Left to cherish her memory are her niece & nephews: Natalie Johnson, Christopher (Stacy) Flowers, Ryan Maxwell, Noah Flowers, Justin Flowers and a host of step nieces and nephews.
She will forever be remembered by the special friends she has met through her journey.

Heather will be especially missed by her great niece, Avery Maxwell, who lovingly referred to her as "Uncle Feather."

The family will receive friends Monday, March 8, 2021 from 11:00am until 12 noon at the Cawood Funeral Home, Middlesboro, Ky. with the funeral to follow at 12 noon. Rev Preston Smith and Rev. Clayton Barton officiating. Music will be provided by Thomasa Risner.  Burial to take place at New Vine Cemetery in Frakes, Ky.

Pallbearers will be Mack Flowers III, Ryan Maxwell, Justin Flowers, Dustin Price, Kevin Murphy, Lee Vanover, Kristian Daniels, and Justin Boatright.

Honorary pallbearers are Conley Price, Christopher Flowers, Noah Flowers, Tom Gambrel, Clark Gambrel, Sam Gambrel, Jon Price, and Patrick Murphy.
