Hazel Robinson

Hazel Robinson, age 102, of Middlesboro, KY, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, March 28, 2024.  She was born on April 24, 1921, in Benham, KY, to Noah and Ora Sturgill Vanover, who preceded her in death. Hazel never met anyone she didn’t love and who didn’t love her.  

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her sons, Howard Eugene Robinson and James Edward Robinson; sister, Leona Robinson; and brother, Garland Vanover.  

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, John (Rosie) Robinson and J. Will (Penney) Robinson as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.  

The family of Hazel Robinson will receive friends on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Bayless presiding.

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will follow in procession to the Middlesboro Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY, where graveside services will be held.
