Geraldine Cox Earle

Geraldine Cox Earle, age 87, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away peacefully, at home, on Saturday, October 4, 2025. She was born in Middlesboro, KY, on June 4, 1938, to the late Clarence and Emma Mayes Cox.

Geraldine raised many children, including her own, over the years as she provided day care for many families. Taking care of people was one of her greatest joys.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Earle; daughters, Patricia Gail Earle Parsons and Tammy Sue Earle; son, Charles David “Crockett” Earle; brothers, Don Cox, Clarence “Noonie” Cox, Jr., Darryl Cox, and Hollis Wayne Cox; and sisters, Shirley Poore, Peggy Goins, and Betty Johnston.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Billy Earle and Curtis Earle, and brother, Coye Cox.

A graveside service for Geraldine Cox will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Miller Cemetery #2, Middlesboro, KY, with Reverend Jimmy Miller presiding.
