Freida M. Raines

Freida M. Grider Raines, age 60, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born February 21, 1965, the daughter of Mr. William Edward Grider and Mrs. Billie Jean Russell Grider of Bell County, KY.

Freida was a devoted mother and a retired nurse assistant who dedicated her life to caring for others. As a homemaker, she created a warm and loving environment for her family, cherishing every moment spent with them and instilling values of kindness and compassion.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Mr. Glenn Allen Raines; her daughter, Brittany Danielle Raines-Brock of Cumberland Gap, TN; sons, Kendall Allen Raines of Bell County, KY, and Markus William Raines of Harrogate TN; grandchildren, Elizabeth Jade Bussell of Harrogate TN, and Sully Allen Gage Brock of Cumberland Gap TN; her half-sister, Janet Smith-Fretwell of Middlesboro, KY; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Although Freida is no longer with us, her spirit and memory will forever remain within the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
