Erica Beaty

Erica Cherice Beaty, age 31, of Middlesboro, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, peacefully at her home. She was born on May 31, 1988, the daughter of Norene Beaty and Jack Rogers; (the late Robert A. Beaty). She was a member of the Church of the True Living God of Holiness. She loved music and playing in the band throughout her school years. She was a Governor’s Scholar and a member of the Academic Team. She attended Transylvania University, where she was pursing a degree in Philosophy. She was very intelligent and achieved a lot throughout her life. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart.

In addition to her father, Robert, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oddie and Mary Tharpe and Robert and Betty Beaty; special aunts, Carolyn Jamison, Linda Menzies and Janet Gillispie; and uncle, Danny Beaty.

She is survived by her mother, Norene Beaty; brother, Carl Beaty and Andre Beaty; sister, Rochelle White and Ariel Rogers; birth-father, Jack Rogers; and a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Jamison presiding. Burial services will be private.
