Elvin (Hubert) Hunley

Elvin (Hubert) Hunley of Maineville, OH, formerly of Bell County, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the age of 87. He was a proud 20-year veteran of the U.S. Airforce.

He was the beloved husband of Janice Hunley; devoted father of Katie Hughes and Pete (June) Hunley; cherished grandfather of Eddie (Amy) Meyers, Brian (Casey) Meyers, and Claire Hughes; loving great-grandfather of Chase (Avree), Haylee, Jace, and Preslie; caring great-great grandfather of Forrest; brother of the late Britt Hunley, Paul Hunley, and Grover Hunley; and son of the late Elvin and Lizzie Hunley.

Graveside services for Elvin (Hubert) Hunley will be held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork, KY, with full military honors provided by the Harlan Honor Guard.

Donations in Elvin's honor may be sent to the Humane Association of Warren County, 230 Cook Road, Lebanon Ohio, 45036.
