Douglas Eldridge, Iii

Douglas White Eldridge, III, age 37, of Ewing, VA, passed away at his home on Monday, November 30, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born on August 29, 1983 in Bell County, KY, the son of Karen Eldridge and the late Douglas Eldridge, Jr.  Douglas spent most of his life in Lee County, VA.

He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Eldridge, Jr.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Mother, Karen Eldridge of Ewing, VA

Brother, Nick Eldridge of Ewing, VA

Half Brother, Anthony Cheek of Ewing, VA

Son, Jonah White of Danville, KY

Daughter, Brooklyn Jade Eldridge of Tazewell, TN

Grandparents, Argene & Drucellia Hunley; and Doug and Betty Eldridge, all of Ewing, VA

Special Aunt, Jennifer “Sis” Snodgrass of Jonesville, VA

Nephews, Caleb, Gabriel and Jacob Snodgrass, all of Jonesville, VA

And a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Graveside service for Douglas White Eldridge, III, will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Herbert and Pearlie Hensley Cemetery in Ewing, VA.  Reverend Richard Long will be presiding and music will be provided by Marcie Williams.
