Donna Lynn Wilder

Donna Lynn Wilder, age 46, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 12, 2025. She was born in Middlesboro, KY, on August 17, 1979, to Alma Upton and the late Don Upton.

Donna loved spending time with her family, which recently grew to include her first granddaughter, Anias. She also enjoyed the company of her beloved fur baby, Charlie.

In addition to her father, Donna was preceded in death by her grandmother, Anna Mae Vanover; father-in-law, Carlos Wayne Wilder, Sr.; mother-in-law, Edna Mae Wilder and aunt, Rose Daniels.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 26 years, Carlos Wilder; sons, Chris (Donna) Upton and Jimmy Wilder (James McClain); daughter, Kasie Wilder (Josh Szemak); granddaughter, Anias Upton; mother, Alma Upton; and brothers, Donald (Samantha) Upton and Tommy Upton (Candice Saylor) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family of Donna Wilder will receive friends on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Warwick presiding.

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to Upton Wilder Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY, where graveside services will be held.

Pallbearers will be Chris Upton, Jimmy Wilder, Harold Wilder, Chris Ables, Jeffery Lankford, and Josh Szemak.
