Donna Rae Mason Howe

Donna Rae Mason Howe, age 71, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN. She was born April 14, 1954, she was the beloved daughter of the late Nadine (Yeary) Mason and Verlin Mason of Middlesboro, KY.

Donna dedicated over forty years of her life, before retiring, to her career at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital, where her contributions touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on her community. Known for her quick wit and love of laughter, she was a cherished member of Beans Fork Missionary Baptist Church in Middlesboro, KY, where she found comfort and fellowship among her friends and congregation.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nadine (Yeary) Mason and Verlin Mason, who played significant roles in shaping the woman she became.

Donna leaves behind her devoted husband, Kenneth Howe, originally of Cocoa, FL. She also leaves her two loving sons, Steven James Marsee of Winchester, KY, and Gregory Neal Marsee of Versailles, KY. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Dian Mason of Claiborne County, TN, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and close friends who will miss her dearly.

The family of Donna Howe will receive friends on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Ronnie Rose and Reverend Trae Evans presiding. Interment will be private.
