Demi Jaclyn Miracle, age 21, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, at the UK Chandler Medical Center, Lexington, KY, surrounded by her family. She was born in Lexington, KY on June 2, 2004. She is the daughter of Dempsey Jr. “DJ” and Diana Jackson Miracle.
Demi enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her time as a Middlesboro Middle School Cheerleader, Middlesboro High School Choir member, and working at Food City where she made many friends that loved her. Every day she awoke to “wake and pray.” She led by example of this Bible verse Psalm 91:4- He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings, you will find refuge. She is a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church, Girdler, KY. She touched many lives with her contagious smile. She loved music, dancing, twirling and being a prankster. She enjoyed Friday night game time at Mamaw’s house. She is a light in this world that no one can take away. Though she leaves us behind, we know she is walking along the Jordan river with Aunts, Gail, Marilyn, Betty, and Papaw Dempsey.
Demi was preceded in death by her sister, Addie Lynn; Papaw Dempsey (Sr.); Aunts, Gail Sprinkles, Marilyn Coffey, and Betty Jackson; and Grandparents, James T. and Wilma Jean Jackson.
She is survived by her parents, Dempsey Jr. “DJ” and Diana Jackson Miracle; Mamaw, Ollie Miracle; Aunts, Denise (Steve) Abner of Gray, KY and Patricia (Jeff) Curry of Middlesboro, KY; and Uncle Charles Sprinkles of Barbourville, KY. Brother and Sisters (Cousins), Courtney (Chris) Murphy, Alex (Macey) Sprinkles Barbourville KY, Morgan (Zach) Absher, Frankfort, KY, Macey (Kyle) Hall Georgetown KY; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Left also to cherish her memory are special people who inspired Demi and made a difference in her life: Helen and Lonnie Wilder, Deanna Bailey, and Mamaw Jo.
The family of Demi Miracle will receive friends On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Cawood Funeral Home, Middlesboro, KY, from 12 o’clock p.m. until the service time at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor David Barnard presiding.
Following the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, KY, where graveside services will be held.
Pallbearers will be “My Daddy,” Uncle Charles, Uncle Steve, Uncle Jeff, Alex, and Chris.
