David Thomas Roark

David Thomas Roark, age 55, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was born on August 16, 1971, in Middlesboro, KY, to Jesse and Jalaine Ingram Roark.

David had a deep love for the Lord and a strong devotion to God's Word. He had a heart overflowing with love and was one of the most selfless and giving people you could ever meet. His sense of humor was truly one of a kind, and his ability to make others laugh was unmatched. He had a special way of bringing joy to those around him.

David spent many years working as a truck driver, traveling countless miles across the country. He enjoyed the opportunity to see different parts of the country, especially the beautiful landscapes out west.

David was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Thomas Roark.

He is survived by his sons, Jordan Roark and Noah Hatfield; mother, Jalaine Roark; and siblings, Dena Howerton (Andy), Billie Jo Lester (Mike), Rebecca McQueen (Louis), Patsy Barnett, Judy Roark, Robert Roark, and Jesse Rice as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family of David Roark will receive friends on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will immediately follow with Rev. Matthew Robbins presiding.

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to Ingram Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY, where graveside services will be held.

Members of the family will serve as pallbearers.
