Clint Debusk

Clint T. Debusk, age 70, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away peacefully on February 3, 2023, at Middlesboro ARH Hospital following a bout with pneumonia. Clint was born on February 11, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Joseph and Ruby Meyers Debusk.

Clint is survived by his beloved kitty, Precious; three brothers, David Scott Debusk and his wife, Linda, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, his twin brother Joey Debusk and his wife, Peggy, of Johnson City, Tennessee and Wayne Debusk and his wife, Flo, of Frankfort, Kentucky; one sister, Vivian Quarles, and her husband, Bob, of Homasassa, Florida as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Clint and his family moved to Middleboro when he was six years old.  He was a 1970 graduate of Middlesboro High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky.  In 1992, Clint lost the love of his life, Chin Su, in an automobile accident. They had no children and he never remarried.

Clint was a veteran of the US Air Force and proudly served his country until his retirement. He was the recipient of many medals and honors during his military career.  Following his retirement, he moved back to Middlesboro to help care for his mother and father who were both ill at the time.  His family was his heart, and he was devoted to caring for his parents.  Clint had a strong faith and love of Christ. He was a member of the Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church. He leaves those who mourn his passing knowing he is at peace and with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The family of Clint T. Debusk will receive friends on Tuesday February 7, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service for Clint T. Debusk will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. in the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Greene presiding.
