Charles Howard

September 28, 1932 — January 11, 2019

Charles W. Howard, 86, of Pathfork, KY, passed away Friday, January 11, at the Harlan ARH. He was born September 28, 1932 in Pathfork, KY, the son of the late Wilse and Lusinda Howard. He was a member of the Blackstar Pentecostal Church and had honorably served his country in the United States Marines during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Barbara Marie Howard, 1 Son: Charles William Howard, Jr., 3 Sisters: Euna Lee Howard, Ruby Cutlip and Oma Johnston. He is survived by the following members of his family:

Sheldon W. (Hazel) Blincoe and Susan (Phillip) Blythe

2 Brothers:

Wilse Howard, Jr. and Sam Howard

1 Sister: Colleen Spence

11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church with the Rev. J.C. Craig and Rev. Ronnie Oplinger presiding. Music will be provided by Rev. Ronnie Oplinger, Geona Snellings and Marjorietta Moore. Interment will follow in the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork, KY. Family members and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church.
